Our center offers compassionate care for our neighbors by assisting with basic needs including food, clothing, shelter placement referrals and help with utilities. This approach brings stability to lives of individuals and fosters transformation in our community.

The process begins with a simple application and a short meeting with one of our friendly intake counselors, who provide our neighbors with groceries, toiletries, referrals to other community services, assistance filing applications for SNAP (food stamps), Medicaid, TANF benefits and much more. Neighbors who do not need a full bag of groceries are invited to stop in to pick up bread at any of the intake sessions as often as desired or needed.

Some types of assistance that Community Life Center provides through this program include: rent assistance, utilities assistance, water bill payment, medical expenses, funeral expenses, bus passes, childcare costs, and more.
